Project HIRED offers a wide range of programs and services for job seekers and employers at its San Jose offices, by request at employer facilities, or online for qualified remote job seekers. We also host or attend educational, outreach, and fundraising events throughout the year. For Job Seekers

Orientation:

Held weekly each Tuesday at 2 PM at the Project HIRED San Jose office. Open to all; drop ins welcome. For more information or to register, please contact Project HIRED.

Job Club:

Held weekly each Tuesday from 10 AM - 12 PM, Job Club is a networking group that brings together job seeking Project HIRED clients for guest lectures, specialized trainings, and discussions about job training and searching topics. Job Skills Workshops:

Held throughout the year based, Job Skills Workshops may be either stand alone or a short series of classes on specialized topics, such as resume writing or interview skills. Open to all active Project HIRED clients; pre-registration required. For more information or to register, please contact Project HIRED.

Hands On Training:

Held based on instructor availability, hands on trainings give Project HIRED clients the opportunity to develop or refresh their job skills in a variety of ways—such as technique training with Microsoft Word, Excel, or Powerpoint or basic and advanced computer skills development. Wounded Warrior Workforce Conferences and Job Fairs:

Held throughout the year in Silicon Valley, Monterey County, and other locations, the Wounded Warrior Conference and Job Fair series lets injured veterans gather to learn about entering the civilian workforce and network with hiring employers. Open to all active Project HIRED veteran clients AND all disabled veterans; pre-registration requested. For more information or to register, please contact Project HIRED.

For Employers

Workshops and Trainings:

Project HIRED employer workshops are designed to offer in-depth information about how to recruit, train, and retain individuals and veterans with disabilities. Hosted at Project HIRED facilities or on site at employer locations, these workshops can also be customized give your organization tailored, direct access to HR experts trained in disability employment issues. Project HIRED Wounded Warrior Workforce Conferences & Job Fairs:

Held throughout the year in Silicon Valley, Monterey County, and other locations, the Wounded Warrior Conference and Job Fair series lets employers come together to discuss adding injured veterans to their workforces and to meet job seeking injured veterans. Conference attendance open to all employers, public agencies, and support/resource organizations interested in helping disabled veterans transition to civilian employment; job fair booth priority given to employers with active open positions. The Harvest Moon Recognition Dinner:

Held each year in October, The Harvest Moon Recognition Dinner is an opportunity for entire Project HIRED community of supporters to come together in celebration of Project HIRED and its mission.
